Report on the match
Horfield had an excellent result against their neighbours Clifton
in the knockout Final. With the Black pieces all four Horfield
players held out for well earn't draws especially Mike Levene who
was under severe time pressure.
John Richards and Phil Nendick made full use of the advantage of
the White pieces with devastating attacks to win the match.

Horfield have had a good season this year bringing in both
Knockout trophies and finishing as champions of both Division 5 and
Divison 2 for their "D" and "B" teams respectively. |
