However they may have shot themselves in the foot because there is no threshold calculated for Div I, as thresholds are calculated from the grades of the division immediately above, which does not exist for Div I. Depending on how you look at it, this could be interpreted as no Downend, Clifton or Horfield A players are below the Div I threshold as there isn't one, so none of them can play down in their B teams. Come to think of it that might make for a better League competition if A team players in Div I cant play for their B team. They wouldnt then be able to strengthen their B teams in critical matches to avoid relegation at the end of the season and squeeze out the smaller clubs like Grendel and Keynsham from Div I.
