Personally I have always liked the closed Bristol Championship but I found it disappointing that so many of the strongest players in the league were conspicuous by their absence and am also aware that poorly attended congresses are bad for league finances. If the turnout can not be improved then incorporating the Bristol championship into one of the Bristol Congresses seems like the best option but to me it would be a shame to lose the closed Bristol Championship.
