Eddie and all, Incorporating the Bristol Championships into an open congress has been suggested by several people. There's always been a certain kudos to having a closed congress, but it looks as though we may have to lose it, as we can't afford to keep subsidising it. One suggestion is that we change the winter congress to a spring one, held about this time of year, which would be open and include the Bristol championships. However, the closed tournament is written into our league rules, so it needs to be changed at the AGM in May. See rule 9 in your league handbook. Turn up and have your say!
