The fourth and final round of the Downend Summer Quickplay will take place at Downend Chess Club on Tuesday 14th August 2012. Full details at the following link.

36 players took part in the 3rd round making a total of 50 participants so far, if the numbers keep up for the final round the Prize Fund should be similar to the bumper year of 2011. Results for the first three rounds can be viewed at the following link.

Can anyone stop Jim Sherwin's charge or will he achieve his first 18 point maximum? (Jim has hit 17.5 on more than one occasion but Tyson Mordue remains the only player to achieve 18 points).
