Hands up if you're interested in playing correspondence chess. You can play by post or email and it's a good way to try out new openings etc. It's also friendlier than OTB, as players often send notes with their moves (although this is not compulsory...) Correspondence is still very much alive and kicking, and I'm trying to restart the correspondence chess section that used to be active in the Gloucestershire league. I have it in mind to arrange a match against an established CC club, either in the UK or abroad.

Hey Graham, I'm up for that. We used to play for the same team didn't we...I've not played for them for a couple of years, been quite hectic here.
About time I got back into it.
