Final Results
Bristol 1 had an
exciting last weekend in the 4NCL battling for promotion back to the
top flight - After losing narrowly to mid-table Poisoned Pawns 1 on
the Saturday they were able to overcome King Head on the Sunday
quite convincingly. This set up a nail biter against our
friends from across the Bristol Channel South West Dragons 1.
With 5/8 of the games finishing in a draw it was left to David
Buckley & Charles Cobb to seal wins making the final score 4½/3½ and
therefore guaranteeing promotion to Division 1 for next season.

Clubs are reminded that the AGM will take place at the
Students' Union on 22 May. Members wishing to put motions on the agenda
should let me have them no later than Thursday 8th May. Motions must be
proposed and seconded by a bona fide member of the League and should be sent
